Kindred Spirit Behavioral Health offers a range of services to promote mental health and well-being.

Guided by the groundbreaking philosophy of Dr. Linda James Myers’ Optimal Conception Theory, we use a socio-cultural approach to psychiatric care that incorporates culturally sensitive techniques. We consider and contextualize the impact of systemic barriers when treating our clients.

In addition to our therapist-led groups for individuals and couples, we offer several groups for those seeking therapeutic support. These groups are for people looking to build emotional support and learn coping strategies with a community of peers.

Wounds 2 Wisdom

(Trauma Groups):

Women’s group: Led by our co-founder and CEO, Dr. Tania Lodge.​

Men’s group: Led by Dr. Lorris

Grief Support Group:

Facilitated by Barbara Isom, MSSA, LSW.

Neurodivergence Group (ADD/Autism):

Led by our psychology students. 

Kindred Kids:

Summer Program for grades K-12
